Flexible Attendance Schedules & Drop-in days
Upon enrollment, we'll work together to establish a weekly schedule for your child which provides consistency and stability for your child. However, we understand that families have unique schedules and needs. That's why we offer flexible attendance options, including drop-in days when needed. Parents also have the freedom to switch days at no extra charge, as long as there is available space. This flexibility helps ensure that your child’s care fits seamlessly into your busy life while giving you the peace of mind that your child’s needs are always met.
HIGHLY TRAINED teaching staff
Our team of educators are highly qualified and dedicated to providing the best care and education for your child. Each team member is CPR and first aid certified, ensuring they are equipped to handle any type of emergencies. They undergo a thorough background check through the criminal history unit to maintain our safe environment. In addition, our staff participate in ongoing child development trainings to stay up-to-date with the latest best practices. Our lead teachers hold degrees in Early Childhood Education, bringing both expertise and passion to their role in nurturing and guiding your child’s growth.
ASSESSMENTS
Our teachers conduct child development assessments twice per year to ensure curriculum is tailored to each child's specific needs and developmental level. By understanding where each child is in their growth, we can adapt our activities and teaching methods to provide the best support and opportunities for their learning and development. These assessments are designed to evaluate various areas of development, including cognitive skills, language, social-emotional growth, motor skills, and more. By regularly tracking progress, we gain valuable insights into each child's strengths and areas where they may need additional support or enrichment. Assessments are important for several reasons like tracking developmental milestones, personalizing learning experiences and offering support for early intervention.
monthly classroom newsletters
Each month, we provide a classroom newsletter that includes details about upcoming events, the weekly curriculum theme, and the key topics your child will be exploring that month. The newsletter also includes important reminders and any other updates to keep you in the loop throughout the year. This ensures you stay connected to your child’s experiences and helps foster a strong partnership between home and school.
Library
Kids Choice is home to a dedicated library filled with hundreds of carefully selected books. Our collection is thoughtfully curated to complement our weekly curriculum themes and support essential life skills, social, and emotional development. From imaginative adventures to educational stories, our library offers a diverse range of books that inspire curiosity, foster a love for reading, and enhance learning in a fun and engaging way. We believe that every book opens a door to new experiences, helping children grow, learn, and explore the world around them.
We love celebrating holidays in a fun and meaningful way, embracing the commercial aspects of these special occasions to create memorable experiences for the children and families. Throughout the year, we host a variety of exciting events like a Valentine’s Carnival, Leprechaun Hunt, Easter Bunny Visit, Easter Egg Hunts, Mother’s Day Tea, Father’s Day Breakfast, and Pre-K Graduation. During the summer, we have bounce houses, splash pads, water play days, and BBQs, and in the fall, we kick off the season with Back to School Night and our Open House. We also celebrate with a fun trunk-or-treating event, Trick-or-Treating at neighboring businesses, a Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas Recitals, and Breakfast with Santa, along with many other fun events. DATE NIGHTS
On select Friday nights each month, we stay open from 5:30pm to 10:30pm, allowing parents to enjoy a night out. For just $20 per child, your little one will enjoy a fun night doing crafts, playing with other children, and watching a movie all under the care of familiar caregivers while you get the chance to relax or have some adult time. It’s a great opportunity for parents to recharge while knowing their child is in good hands.
