Requirements to work in a licensed child care facility:

All child care workers must obtain Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification

All child care workers must be at least sixteen years of age

With our guidance, you will become a member of IdahoSTARS to complete a series of training requirements within your first 90 days of employment, then continue developmental trainings during your employment. These trainings are designed to provide you with information on child development, behaviors, health and safety, and more.

Position: Lead Teacher

Strong Leadership & Classroom Management – Ability to guide and mentor assistant teachers while maintaining a structured, engaging, and organized classroom. Create a calm, pleasant, interactive experience for the children throughout their daily routine. Assist in training assistants, afternoon aids, substitutes and volunteers. Delegate assignments to assistant teachers.
