We place a strong emphasis on serving meals that are nutritionally balanced, with a variety of seasonal fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, dairy and healthy fats. These meals are carefully planned to meet the dietary needs of young children, promoting healthy development while also introducing them to a wide range of flavors and textures. We also ensure that all foods and beverages served are dye-free and contain no added sugars, supporting optimal health and minimizing exposure to artificial additives.
mealtimes
Children are fed breakfast, a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. Mealtimes are scheduled every two hours to ensure that children stay full and satisfied throughout the day, providing them with the energy they need for learning and play. We serve family-style meals, allowing children to engage in the process of serving themselves the portions they want and encouraging healthy eating habits, social interaction, and independence.
OUR KITCHEN & CHEF
Our facility is proud to have a fully equipped commercial kitchen, staffed by a full-time chef who is trained in nutrition. This allows us to prepare homemade meals and snacks that are both delicious and nutritionally balanced. We make everything from scratch, including house-made pasta sauces and serving whole grain pasta, ensuring that each meal is fresh, wholesome, and thoughtfully prepared.
LUNCH & SNACK Menu
To keep things exciting and varied, our lunch menu rotates monthly, offering a diverse range of nutritious options to keep children engaged and satisfied while supporting their growth and development. Our snack menu is rotated bi-weekly and includes a healthy balanced variety of fruits, dairy and whole grains.
BEVERAGES
We provide whole milk for children 2 years old and under and 2% milk for children 2 years old and up with every meal to support their growth and development. We also offer water during snack times, throughout the day, and during outdoor play, ensuring that children stay hydrated and healthy.
ALLERGIES
As a nut-free center, we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in our care. We take proactive measures to prevent exposure to nut products and carefully monitor meal ingredients to avoid cross-contamination. In addition, we actively address food allergies by working closely with parents to understand specific allergy concerns and ensuring that any dietary restrictions are respected. Our staff is trained to handle allergy-related situations with caution and care, creating a safe, supportive environment for all children to thrive.
