PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS

Our preschool programs are designed to nurture the unique developmental needs of young children, with two distinct classrooms dedicated to ages 3 and 4. These age-specific environments provide children with developmentally appropriate experiences that foster learning, growth, and social-emotional skills.

The curriculum is carefully planned around each child's individual stage of development, utilizing comprehensive assessments to tailor activities that align with their strengths, interests, and developmental milestones. Whether it's the early exploration of language and motor skills or the development of cognitive abilities, our teachers craft enriching activities that ensure each child is challenged at their own pace.

By offering a balanced approach that combines structured learning with hands-on, play-based activities, we create an atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Our goal is to provide a foundation that promotes confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

group sizes and ages

With fewer children in each group, teachers can provide more focused guidance, build stronger relationships, and better support each child's unique developmental needs. This allows for more meaningful interactions, personalized learning experiences, and a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and grow at their own pace.

Room 5 - 2 years 10 months to 3.5 years - 1:8 (with a maximum of 16 children per day)

Room 6 - 3.5 years to 4 years - 1:9 (with a maximum of 18 children per day)

DAILY PARENT REPORTS

Each day, parents will receive a report that offers a personalized snapshot of your preschooler's activities, ensuring that you feel connected to their experiences while they're with us. Our daily updates include details such as what your child ate during meals, how much they ate, and whether they had a restful nap. We also provide insights into their mood throughout the day—whether they were energetic, calm, happy, or engaged in specific activities.

Additionally, each report highlights a fun activity or a special moment from their day, such as a new skill they mastered, a positive interaction with a peer, or a creative endeavor they enjoyed. These reports serve not only as a reflection of your child's daily routine but also as a way for you to celebrate their achievements and feel confident in their growth and development. We believe that by sharing these daily updates, parents can stay actively involved in their child’s learning journey, building a strong partnership that supports each child’s development at home and at school.

Preschool DAILY SCHEDULE

Research shows that children tend to learn best in the morning, typically between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. During this time, their alertness, concentration, and cognitive functioning are at their peak. This is largely due to their natural circadian rhythms, which influence energy levels and attention span. Mid-morning is particularly effective for activities that require critical thinking, problem-solving, and memory retention, as the brain is most efficient at processing new information. After lunch, around 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, children often experience a dip in energy and focus, known as the “post-lunch slump.” During this period, they benefit more from hands-on, interactive activities that are less cognitively demanding.

THINKING (COGNITIVE) SKILLS

We encourage curiosity and critical thinking by engaging preschoolers in activities that challenge their minds and promote problem-solving, including:

Early Math & Science: Counting, pattern recognition, sorting, and simple experiments that build foundational STEM skills.

Puzzles & Logic Games: Helping children develop reasoning and problem-solving abilities in a fun and engaging way.

Creative Thinking: Open-ended play, art, and storytelling that allow children to explore ideas and use their imaginations.

LANGUAGE & Communication skills

Strong language skills are essential for learning and self-expression. We create a rich language environment where preschoolers can develop communication skills through:

Storytime & Reading Activities: Engaging children in books, storytelling, and discussions to build vocabulary and comprehension.

Songs, Rhymes, & Music: Fun, interactive ways to reinforce language development and listening skills.

Encouraging Conversations: Teachers model and encourage conversation, helping children express themselves clearly and build confidence in speaking.

Learning how to interact with others and manage emotions is a key part of early childhood development. We support social and emotional growth by:

Group Activities & Cooperative Play: Teaching teamwork, sharing, and problem-solving in a fun and supportive setting.

Emotional Expression & Self-Regulation: Helping children understand and express their feelings in healthy ways.

Building Confidence & Independence: Encouraging decision-making, responsibility, and self-help skills to prepare them for future learning.
