Programs
classrooms
Each of our programs are separated into eight age-specific classrooms, ensuring that children are being taught based on each child's age and stage of development. Our facility has one infant room, three toddler classrooms, two preschool classrooms, one pre-k classroom, and one school-age classroom.
low teacher-to-child ratios
Low teacher-to-child ratios in an early education program are incredibly important for several reasons:
-
Individual Attention and Support: With fewer children per teacher, caregivers can provide more individualized attention, supporting each child's unique needs, interests, and developmental stage. This helps children feel more valued and encourages positive emotional development.
-
Improved Learning: Smaller groups allow teachers to better tailor activities and instruction to each child’s pace, promoting deeper learning. Children are more likely to engage in activities and develop stronger cognitive, social, and motor skills when there is more focused guidance.
-
Better Behavior Management: In settings with fewer children, teachers can more effectively manage behavior. They have the time and space to intervene when needed, guiding children in resolving conflicts, understanding boundaries, and developing social skills.
-
Enhanced Safety: A lower ratio improves the teacher's ability to monitor all children, reducing the risk of accidents and ensuring that every child is safe. Teachers can more easily supervise activities, respond to emergencies, and provide a safer environment overall.
-
Stronger Relationships: Children form closer bonds with their caregivers when the group is smaller. Strong, positive relationships with teachers help boost children's self-esteem and emotional well-being.
-
Better Communication and Collaboration: With fewer children, teachers can more effectively communicate with parents and collaborate on individual learning plans. This ensures consistency between home and childcare settings, which is beneficial for the child’s development.
-
Improved Developmental Outcomes: Research has shown that lower teacher-to-child ratios are linked to better developmental outcomes in children, including higher academic achievement, better social skills, and better emotional regulation.

Child development assessments
We conduct child development assessments twice per year to carefully monitor and support each child's growth. These assessments are designed to evaluate various areas of development, including cognitive skills, language, social-emotional growth, motor skills, and more. By regularly tracking progress, we gain valuable insights into each child's strengths and areas where they may need additional support or enrichment. Assessments are important for several reasons like tracking developmental milestones, personalizing learning experiences and offering support for early intervention.
