Tours & Enrollment FAQ's

Taking a tour of a preschool is the best way to get a firsthand look at the environment your child will be in. It allows you to see the facility, observe the interactions between staff and children, and get a feel for the overall atmosphere. During a tour you will have the opportunity to ask specific questions and meet the teachers and staff, ensuring everything aligns with your expectations and values. It’s an essential step in choosing a preschool that’s the right fit for you and your child.

Enrollment FAQ's

Do you require immunizations?

Idaho Department of Health and Welfare requires all licensed childcare facilities to provide immunization records or immunization exemption forms. Immunization records or an immunization exemption form will be required upon enrollment. Kids Choice accepts immunization exemptions and can provide you with the exemption form upon enrollment.

How do I enroll?

Once you have toured the center and decide you want to enroll, a non-refundable $85.00 registration fee will be collected and you will decide the start date for your child. Paying the registration fee will secure your child's spot. If your start date is extended beyond 4 weeks past the decided start date, your spot cannot be guaranteed, however we will work with families to ensure your child can be enrolled as close to the new date.

Are meals and snacks included in tuition?

Yes, all meals and snacks are included in your tuition.

How does tuition work?

Tuition is billed weekly, every Monday. Automatic withdrawal via Tuition Express from a valid checking or savings account is required upon enrollment. Credit and debit cards will have a 4.5% fee added due to the high processing fees.

Do you accept funding assistance?

Yes, we accept funding from the Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP) and Child Care Aware of America (Military Assistance). You can find more information about financial aid by CLICKING HERE.

Is there a contract?

No, there is no contract. If you intend to withdrawal your child from the program, we require a written two-week notice.

Does my child have to be potty trained?

No, it is not required for children to be potty trained and it does not affect the weekly tuition charges. Our teachers will work alongside parents and children when they are ready to be potty trained.

Does my child have to take a nap?

Children are not required to take a nap. Every age group's daily schedule has a 30 minute required rest period where children are given a soft napping mat, a blanket and calming music is played in the classroom for a quiet, peaceful rest period.

What type of supplies will I need to provide for my children?

Upon enrollment, families will be given an intake review that has a list of supplies each age group will need. For infants, you will need to provide items such as pre-made bottles of formula/breast milk and diapering supplies. For older children, diapering supplies, nap time supplies and a washable/reusable water bottle to keep at the facility will be requested.

How long can my child attend each day?

Children enrolled in our full day program can attend up to ten hours per day. Children in our half-day programs are picked up by 12:30pm.
